What are the symptoms of COVID19?

In most cases, symptoms of COVID19 have been shown to be mild and flu-like. These symptoms included cough, shortness of breath, and a fever over 100.4 degrees. Other symptoms reported have been loss of smell, fatigue, aches, nausea.

How is COVID19 transmitted?

COVID is a respiratory virus. That means that it’s spread by contact with or inhalation of droplets that come out of your nose and mouth. This also means that simple precautions that apply for other respiratory viruses are effective in preventing spread of COVID. These include behaviors such as washing your hands regularly and covering your mouth/nose when sneezing or coughing.

Are all personnel in your office vaccinated?

Yes. All in-office staff including front desk are vaccinated in compliance with the state mandate that will be in effect October of this year.

Additionally, many of our long-term staff have exercised their civil rights to decline vaccination. Biemcare takes pride in supporting our employees and the community in whatever choices they make. As a result, we have worked to “˜shift’ employees into different administrative positions in our organization as we wait for further updates. As a result, we have seen slightly longer wait-times in our call center and billing departments and ask for your patience with us as we do our best to keep the community safe AND employed.

What additional precautions do you provide?

We have initiated additional protocols in our office and are happy to report:

  1. Decreased aerosols in the office through use of intraoral rinses
  2. Medical-grade HEPA filtration
  3. Increased contact and surface cleansing
  4. Decreased wait times in office
  5. COVID screening prior to procedure

If there is anything else we can do to make you comfortable in our office, please let us know. We are always able to accommodate.
