(1) What is Tori removal/ Alveoloplasty?
Sometimes bone will grow in a way that prevents a denture from being worn comfortably. Tori removal/Alveoloplasty is a surgical procedure that smooths your bone so a denture can fit painlessly in your mouth. You do NOT need to request this procedure if you need teeth extracted. It is included in your denture preparation appointment.

(1) How do I know if I need PRP?
Almost every area where a tooth is removed benefits from PRP. Without it, healing can be longer or more uncomfortable. If you want to decrease risk of dry socket and increase success down the road, PRP is a good idea for you.

(2) Do I have to decide now?
Nope! You can talk with us about it and add-on PRP at your appointment.

(1) How do I know if I need Bone Grafting?
Almost every area where a tooth is removed benefits from bone grafting. Without it, the extraction site doesn’t heal as optimally and can create a “sunk in” look over time. Bone graft is especially important if you are young or planning to have a dental implant placed.
